Look mom, up in the sky! It’s a bird, it’s a plane, no it’s the Hobosoul!

So we went up in a plane this last Saturday to get some footage around LA to be used in the Gatorade spec spot we’re working on.  Below is a picture that one of our DP’s (Matt) took.  He also owns a photo company called Mathieu Photography.  Check it out, and keep an eye out for the up coming commercial.

A couple weeks ago I took some pictures of Jeff And his beautiful lady in crime (DeAndra), to be used in a design for the beer bottle labels that will be consumed in their upcoming wedding. Here are some of the left overs from that day. The label is on its way.

You can see more photos from the day here.

Gatorade – “Redefine”

In the midst of all the busy-ness of planning a wedding, working on a film and finishing up some corporate jobs, we managed to squeeze in a spec commercial shoot this weekend.

We teamed up with Ashley and Dave from Illuminate Design for this two day shoot. Written by “The Chuck”, Chuck Oldfield, shot by Dave and Matt Snelson on a Canon D5 Mark II and a stellar small cast, we think we’ve got something great.

Just a few weeks post on this one, we promise. Check back soon. Photo above is from the LA oil fields in central Los Angeles, where we were “training” our runner…at least that’s what the staff at the oil fields believes.

Everyone sucks

Thanks to friend Eric Trine, I found this little gem from Louis CK.

It’s not very hobo related, unless you think of needing to pare down your things and stop complaining about everything. He’s right, people are impatient and complain about everything. And here I am, complaining about complainers. So we’re all in the group.

The blog header isn’t entirely accurate. Check out Eric’s blog for other great clips, photos and obscure stuff that he finds/buys.
