June Film Project – “Feed the Cars” RECAP

2009

In the continuing journey to be a part of a project for every month this year, I found myself on the set of comedian Johnny Walker‘s newest music video. They needed a homeless man.

They found one.

At the risk of being “type cast” into the role of homeless bum, I accepted their offer, and lived it up well. The basic idea: Johnny’s new song is about using vegetables to power cars…thus, “feed the cars”.

A small crew, with a college buddy Matt Sullivan directing and shooting, Johnny Walker as the lead singer and visionary, and their friend (who’s name I forget) playing harmonica.

They’re doing all editorial and effects (which means it’ll probably get done quicker than ours have been), so I’ll post it when they’ve finished.

Check out the rest of the stills they sent over (I wasn’t the star, but this is what they sent, because I’m just so good looking):

To note, no, this isn’t a Hobosoul project. We’ve had a ton of things going on, working long days, taking vacations to NH (post to come) and more. So we didn’t really get one of our own in this month. Just being on a set was my goal…so I’m still on track.

I’m sure you’ll be excited about what we’ve got in store for you next. News to come.
