Today I was looking back thru old emails and blog drafts and came across a link from a hobo friend named Lloyd.
The Road Bandit – is basically what Vern and I set out to do when we started the Hobosoul, except that he’s actually doing it. 27 year old Randy Primm, native of Seattle, WA is on the road, videoing his whole experience. Editing periodic episodes, doing crazy stuff, all in a motorhome.
Why do I post this now, you ask? His latest episode (from July) delves into the “Master Cleanse” diet…one of the very hair-brained ideas that Vern and I thought would be good for us (plus hilarious) on camera. (Short description of the diet: you “eat” only a beverage made of fresh squeezed lemons, distilled water, grade B maple syrup and cayenne pepper, you drink (read: chug) a half gallon of warm salt water in the morning and a laxative tea at night). The difference between ours: for some reason, we thought that it’d be ok to drink wine while on the diet. Aftermath and great stories to come in the forthcoming Winnebago Experience documentary. You can catch up on the Road Bandit’s experience in the video below.
