Keeping the Dream Alive

I’ve moved to Berkeley. Tomorrow we’re going to look at this place. (Apologies for the terrible quality).

NORTH OAKLAND DESIGNER 1 BDRM APARTMENT and AIRSTREAM VILLA

From the Craigslist Ad:

“Beautifully designed one bedroom apartment and rebuilt custom 1970 30′ Airstream trailer near Ashby BART on quiet dead-end street. Trailer is the kitchen/lounge area with separate outbuildings for the master bedroom/bath and laundry/storage rooms. Airstream contains comfy lounge, full bath, and custom cherry kitchen. Bedroom outbuilding has bamboo floors, double-pane windows, low-voltage track lighting, tile bath with shower, high ceilings. High-efficiency laundry machines in second building with plenty of storage. Large porch area around Airstream with an outside clawfoot tub for night time soaks. Yard is completely fenced and very private with nice patio and furniture, rock garden, and growing bed. You (single person or couple) are mature, kind, private, respectful, and will really appreciate and take care of this wonderful project that I built with my own hands. Smoking is an outside activity and not permitted indoors. Off-street parking for one car with covered bike rack at rear. All UTILITIES INCLUDED.”

We’re going to see it tomorrow. Keep the hobo dream alive.
