It was about a year ago that The Shys first contacted me to do a music video for them. I think our original idea had something to do with them setting up and playing at various locations on the side of the road until the cops came and kicked them out. Or, it had something to do with finding things in dumpsters around town and assembling some large structure for them to play on. I don’t really remember, kind of how i don’t remember much of the filming of this video. It’s a good thing there was video of it…

With no further ado, here is the unveiling of The Hobosoul’s newest completed project. It was filmed with no script, no crew, and about 24 hours of advance notice. We wanted to make a timeless video that was natural and fun – something that would still work 10 years from now.

Special thanks to the boys, their friends, and John, owner of the Ramos House Cafe in San Juan Capistrano (where a majority of the filming took place).
Here’s the VIDEO:
The Shys have appeared on HBO’s Entourage, toured with The Killers, and have just released their second album, “You’ll Never Understand This Band the Way That I Do“. They are very good people, exceptional musicians, and I encourage everyone to like them.
This is our third music video.
